Well I am pretty sure I am going with the Springfield Armory Champion. Nice feel, good weight, all I need to change is the grips, I think I will probably go with AlumaGrip Thinline grips,. The thinline just feel better in my grip and shave a little off the thickness making it easier to conceal. Course now, the sites come in to question, do I keep the factory sites, or do I change em to the Heinie Slant Pro Rear Sight with Straight 8 Tritium front. Also looking at the Cylinder and Slide SFS safety, looks like it could be a handy safety to have installed.

Thoughts and Ideas
Ok, so I have a few choices in CCWs, the Springfield Armory Champion Model # PX9149L, gives me a nicely modded auto with a bull barrel, Armory Coat but no lanyard loop, the Springfield GI .45 4", Champion PW9142L, which is a basic no frills 45 with lanyard loop, standard barrel and room to mod as I choose. The Para Alloy LTC, again no lanyard loop, but a well built, well rounded weapon. several Kimber choices. now all I need to do is off-load that damn XD and decide I guess.

Damn Descions
OK, so I am trying to figure which weapon I want to purchase next. Trying to sell off my current carry weapon. Damn Springfield XD, something about having to pull the trigger of a weapon to take it apart, is a bit odd. Course it is user error to not make sure the magazine is removed from said weapon. But needless to say, one accident and the silly thing has to go. So now I trying to decide which new weapon am I going to get. I am really leaning towards the 1911 framed weapons. just have to decide which one, the Springfield Armory Champion, GI .45 4", Champion, or the Kimber Pro Carry II. But first I need to off load this XD40 :/
