I am happy now in my Choice

Well, just finished cleanup after going to the range with my New Para LTC .45 ACP 1911. I must say I am extremely happy with the results of both the gun at the range and the Poly-Dunk Kit from Cylinder and Slide in clean up.
207 rounds down range thru both factory mags and the 2 Chip McCormick 8rd mags I picked up in Austin. Not a single malfunction from the gun.
Accuracy was well above expectation for me off hand, weaver stance and single handed.
Nice tight groupings when firing dbl handed and fairly tight single handed. Double tap groups were quite good as well out to about 30 to 45 feet.
I am certainly glad I traded off my Springfield XD for the Para now.
Much more accurate and I think a bit safer as well.

The Polk-Dunk Kit made cleanup a snap, just field strip, soak in the bucket bucket for a bit, I let mine sit for something near 30 minutes or so. take out, wipe down, tooth brush the built up carbon rinse around in the dunk, then wipe down and let dry, or force dry with compressed air as I did on the slide and frame. Lube as necessary and re-assemble, there ya go, nice and clean no muss no fuss.
